Buckskin Joe Frontier Town & Railway: Frontier Town, Special Events, Movies

The restored town opened in 1958 and it didn’t take long for Hollywood to come calling. Over 20 films have been shot on location at Buckskin Joe, including “Cat Ballou”, “The Sacketts”, and “The Cowboys”.

Buckskin Joe has also been the location for many local and national television commercials and still photographic shoots for companies such as Marlboro, Foster Grant, Chevrolet, Atari and more.
